ABOUT

Arkib Austronesia Berhad is a non-profit cultural documentation initiative based in Sabah, Malaysia. The organization exists to document, preserve, and publish materials related to local languages, oral histories, and traditional knowledge that are at risk of being lost.

Our work centers on careful field documentation, archiving, and the creation of accessible
learning and reference materials for communities and researchers.

The organization is governed by its directors and members in accordance with its constitution
and Malaysian law.

Arkib Austronesia Berhad is a non-profit organization with no share capital.

All resources and contributions are used to support documentation, preservation, and
publication work. The organization maintains proper records and reporting in accordance with
SSM requirements.
